If you need support at any other time, including bank holidays, please know you can contact the Samaritans free 24 hour helpline on 116 123. If you have a medical concern, please don’t hesitate to contact your GP or out of hours services.
Your calls and emails to our services are completely confidential.
Pregnancy loss phone helpline
You can call us: 01924 200799.
We know that picking up the phone and talking to someone you don’t know can sometimes be a nerve-wracking experience.
But we’ll do everything we can to make you feel comfortable, to listen and understand and to answer your questions to the best of our abilities. We can also tell you about your nearest support group or telephone support volunteer – someone who’s been through pregnancy loss themselves and who can offer support and understanding. You can learn what to expect when contacting us by watching the short video below.
I just talked and cried and the lovely lady on the phone listened without judging me or getting bored. It really helped.
Live chat
Live Chat is our free, confidential online chat service, which you can find at the bottom right of your screen. This service is available from 9am to 4pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, and from 9am to 8pm on Wednesdays and Fridays
Pregnancy loss email helpline
You can email us: info@miscarriageassociation.org.uk.
You might not feel able to talk on the phone – or perhaps you aren’t able to call during our office hours. We also provide information and offer support via email and aim to reply the same or the next working day.
Your email has helped me make sense of my feelings and to make me feel I am entitled to grieve.
If you need to talk to someone urgently
If you need to talk to someone urgently or after 4pm, please remember that you can always call the Samaritans on 116 123. If you have a medical concern, please contact your GP or out of hours services.
